How To Succeed In Network Marketing in the Philippines

If you’re a network marketer in the Philippines, chances are, you stumbled upon this blog post to look for effective tips on how to succeed in this industry.

You’ve come to the right place.

My name is Verniel Cutar, a network marketer, author, and trainer in this field. I currently have 1,826 people in my downline team, and it is growing.

Let me share with you some of the techniques and strategies that have been working in my business:

Stick To A Simple Strategy That Works

Lots of networkers fail because they are attracted with fancy marketing systems and very complicated methods.

I suggest you focus on something simple that will attract the most number of prospects and customers to you.

For example, if you are not tech savvy but you are an outgoing person (maboka) , why not create a simple strategy such as “talk to 10 people a day about my business”.

On the other hand, if you are an introvert, you can create a strategy such as “write one blog post a day” or “spend Php 1,000 pesos per month on advertising”.

The important thing is to find something simple to do, and once you find that it is working, stick to it and scale your results!

Find A Company That You Totally Believe In

It’s very difficult to promote a network marketing opportunity that you DON’T believe in.

You can try to sugarcoat your marketing with flowery words, but if you lack conviction in what you are offering, people will not be confident in joining you.

So you have to do it right from the start.

You have to pick a company that is aligned with your own values.

More importantly, the products must be interesting for you and the environment is something you enjoy.

Learn How To Generate Leads Via Social Media

Leads are the lifeblood of your business.

That’s why you need to make sure you have an ongoing supply of new leads.

A “lead” is someone who is interested and qualified to buy what you’re offering. He or she has a built-in need that your offer can solve.

One of the best sources of leads is social media. Most especially Facebook. Here are some ideas on how to generate leads there:

  • Join Facebook groups where your target customers are in.
  • Participate in relevant discussions in your industry, make connections and friends, and then share information about your business ethically.
  • Post teaser information and real-time results on your Facebook wall. Tell compelling stories that people will enjoy reading.
  • Create a Facebook page and grow the number of your subscribers so you can attract more people to you and your business.
  • Engage your leads by chatting with them on Facebook messenger and answering all their questions.

Have A Solid Follow-Up System

It is very rare for leads and prospects to sign up when they first hear your offer.

That is why you have to follow-up with them.

Send your prospects Facebook messages and texts that educate them more about your business.

Ask them how they are doing, and provide them more reasons to join your business opportunity.

You can also schedule follow-up appointments so you can further explain the benefits of your business opportunity.

If you are more of an online marketer, the best way to follow up is by building an email list of subscribers.

Play To Your Strengths

A lot of Pinoy networkers don’t succeed because they try to be an all-around marketer.

In short, they try to be good at everything.

The reality is, no one can be good at everything. Except if you are superman.

For example, some people are better conversationalists. While others are better writers.

Some networkers are good in face to face marketing, while others find more results in online marketing.

As the saying goes, different strokes for different folks.

So, to succeed in network marketing, find your strengths and capitalize on them!

On the other hand, find your weaknesses as an individual, and strive to improve on them.

But when it comes to growing your business, focus more on your strengths.

Teach Your Team To Replicate Or Duplicate

Network marketing is really all about “copycat marketing”. Meaning, the people in your downline should be able to easily copy what you’re doing and find the same results.

This is why it is important that you use simple strategies and methods.

Because if you’re overcomplicating things, it will be hard for your downline members to replicate what you’re doing.

Don’t treat your business like a rocket science.

On the other hand, 100% duplication is just a myth.

Other people can’t fully copy what you’re doing because they are unique individuals with different strengths and weaknesses.

As an upline, your role is to help your downlines FIND THEIR STRENGTHS and help them capitalize on those strengths.

By helping your downline members realize their potential, your team will definitely grow.

Find Mentors

Just like any person, you need someone to guide you and help you find your way.

But the key is to find mentors (plural). Find authority figures and experienced people who have already achieved what you want to achieve.

Nowadays, having just one mentor may not be enough.

Personally, I have mentors in different aspects of my life and business.

When it comes to sales and dealing with people, my mentor is my dad.

When it comes to downline building, I learned a lot from veteran networker, Stone Evans.

When it comes to financial freedom, Robert Kiyosaki is the man.

When it comes to investing, Warren Buffett of course.

When it comes to online marketing, Mike Dillard is my mentor.

When it comes to speaking and personality development, my elder brother really taught me the ropes.

So it is important to find mentors to guide you in each aspect of your journey.

This will maximize your success by a great deal.
